Pastor Johnny Dunning, Jr.’s vision for Starlight Baptist Church of Santa Ana is to build a strong, loving church family that truly lives out the Word of God. He believes every member should grow in faith, serve others, and shine as an example of Christ’s love.
He wants the church to reach out beyond the walls and touch lives in the Santa Ana community. Through prayer, teaching, and caring service, Pastor Dunning encourages members to help the lost, feed the hungry, and give hope to the brokenhearted.
Pastor Dunning’s vision also includes developing strong youth and family programs that teach respect, faith, and leadership. He believes young people are the church’s future and deserve encouragement, guidance, and opportunities to discover their God-given gifts.
He sees Starlight Missionary Baptist Church as a beacon of light where people of all backgrounds can worship freely, feel welcome, and grow spiritually. His dream is for the church to stand united in love, faith, and purpose for God’s glory.
